AMWC Awards 2022 – Dr. Sylvia Wins Big at the AMWC Aesthetic Medicine Awards 2022


Our very own Dr. Sylvia Ramirez has won the Best Non-Surgical Facial Rejuvenation category at the AMWC Aesthetic Medicine Awards 2022. The award was presented to Dr. Sylvia on April 1st at the Grimaldi Forum, Monaco during the 20th anniversary of the Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress (AMWC). 

Dr. Sylvia has bested the competition in the hotly contested non-surgical facial rejuvenation category to win this prestigious award. Her winning clinical case was “Combination Treatments for Facial Rejuvenation in a 68-year-old woman”, combining lasers, skin tightening, fillers and botulinum toxin treatments

Another hotly contested category was related to body treatments. Here, Dr. Sylvia was also one of three finalists in the Best Non-Surgical Body Shaping category. 

This year, the AMWC Aesthetic Medicine Award awarded 12 doctors in various categories. Over 1,000 doctors from 60 countries submitted their best cases, 500 were shortlisted, and 135 became finalists, Dr. Sylvia was honored to be chosen as one of the winners in one category (Non-Surgical Face Rejuvenation) and a finalist in another (Non-Surgical Body Rejuvenation).

This recent recognition is a testament to Dr. Sylvia’s commitment to continuous work and research in providing quality aesthetic services. She, along with her team at Cutis, focuses on the fundamentals of scientifically proven and evidence-based procedures for different skin, face and body concerns.

Dr. Sylvia has more than 20 years of experience in aesthetic medicine, chronic disease epidemiology and prevention, nephrology, and transplantation both in the United States and internationally. She is recognized for her evidence-based approach and attention to detail where the patient comes first. Dr. Sylvia is also a US Board Certified and Harvard-trained physician. 

What is AMWC (and Aesthetic Medicine Awards)?

AMWC is a leading aesthetics & anti-aging conference in the world. The event took place from March 31st to April 2nd at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, with more than 8,000 participants physically and over 3,000 virtually. 

This year’s AMWC Aesthetic Awards recognized the best clinical cases in various categories. The Aesthetic Medicine Awards is a competition that gives recognition to doctors and companies for their expertise in the field of aesthetics and anti-aging medicine.

This year’s AMWC was held under the supervision of the Aesthetic Multispecialty Society (#AMS). The conference offered nine scientific program rooms to unite leaders and specialists in the field of aesthetic medicine and surgery and anti-aging medicine.
