What is Dr. Perfect V-Line PDO Thread?
Dr. Perfect V-Line PDO Thread uses absorbable polydioxanone threads that are CE marked, KFDA cleared and Singapore HSA registered.
PDO threads have been used for over 30 years for wound closure in many areas of medicine including plastic surgery, gynecology, eye surgery, among others.
It is a very strong filament fiber which completely dissolves in the body within 12 months and is metabolized into water and carbon dioxide which is then naturally absorbed by the skin. And because of these unique characteristics, PDO threads are now used in aesthetic treatments to naturally lift sagging skin without surgery.
How Does the Dr. Perfect V-Line Thread Lift Procedure Work?
The PDO thread lift procedure starts with the application of numbing for comfort. PDO threads are inserted under the skin either with fine needles or with canulas creating an immediate lifting effect.
No cut is required. Once the threads are in place, slight compression of the tissue maybe done to reshape it by hand and to obtain the desired lifting effect.
