Dr. Michelle Ng graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
During her early years of clinical rotations in the dermatology department of various hospitals, Dr. Michelle has built a strong foundation in dermatology and has developed good clinical acumen for diagnosing and treating various dermatological skin conditions such as acne, scarring, dermatitis and pigmentation disorders. Coupled with a passion for research and writing, Dr. Michelle also has various publications in renowned dermatological and scientific journals.
Dr. Michelle continued to pursue her interest and went on to undertake a rigorous dermatology examination offered by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, United Kingdom, and excelled in her examination obtaining a Post Graduate Diploma in Dermatology in 2015.
With a firm grounding in the knowledge of the skin and body, Dr. Michelle has developed a strong interest for beauty and aesthetics. She firmly believes in bringing out every individual’s natural beauty through subtle enhancements of own unique facial features. As a strong advocate of healthy living, Dr. Michelle always encourages her patients in keeping an active lifestyle and a nutritional diet in combination with a good skincare regime on top of regular aesthetic treatments in achieving and maintaining a youthful, refreshed appearance.
Always in constant pursuit of honing her skills in aesthetics medicine, Dr. Michelle also completed a Diploma course with the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM) and is accredited by the Singapore Medical Council Aesthetic Practice Oversight Committee to perform various facial and body aesthetic procedures ranging from minimally invasive treatments like chemical peels and lasers, to injectables such as botulinum toxin and fillers, as well as skin tightening and body contouring treatments.
Dr. Michelle keeps abreast of the latest developments in aesthetics technology and treatment techniques by taking a proactive step in participating in hands-on aesthetic workshops as well as loco-regional and international conferences. She is currently an associate member of the Dermatological Society of Singapore (DSS) and a regular member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM).
Apart from interest in dermatology and aesthetics medicine, Dr. Michelle also has clinical experience in specialties such as Primary Care, Internal Medicine and General Surgery. Throughout her years of experience as a physician, Dr. Michelle has been very well-liked by her patients, constantly maintains a good rapport with them and is often being commended for her affable and cheerful personality whilst demonstrating professionalism and skillfulness at work.
